Despite the rainy weather, threat of a thunderstorm, and last minute rescheduling of the date, we had a wonderful turnout and lots of fun. It rained all morning, stopped while the first group of people were arriving, and didn't start up again until we were down to just a few families hanging around chatting. We watched the storm roll in and then had an old fashioned "round house" inside the garage, sharing stories, laughter, and tears about rescue dogs, pounds, and our own mini mutts. We raised $900 in raffle tickets and the winner, Erin Stoffer, proud mommy of Mary Kate and Ashley, is getting $450. Everyone took home goodie bags and door prizes. Again, yummy food and desserts and lots of pictures. We have a couple group shots due to people coming and going at different times so we wanted to make sure we got everyone! Next year's picnic will be the FIRST SATURDAY IN AUGUST so mark your calendar's now!
We have plenty of reunion t-shirts left over as we ordered extra when originally expecting a larger crowd. PLEASE email if you'd like to purchase one! They're only $12.00 and really cool looking.
