Mini Mutts Rescue Adoption Application

Our organization requires you to fill out this application completely in order to be considered for adopting one of our dogs. Failure to answer ANY of the questions below may result in denial of your application. Upon receiving your application, we may contact you for further information. Please be as specific and detailed as possible. The more we know about you, the easier it will be to match a dog to you and your family and lifestyle. Remember, we reserve the right to deny an application for ANY or NO reason. Our goal is to provide a FOREVER home for our babies.

Often times several families will apply for the same dog. In this event, we don't necessarily go with "first come/first serve" but rather look at ALL the applications to see where the dog will fit in the best. Whenever someone inquires about a dog, we'll reply with answers to your questions and then ask you to submit an application. Often times during the time you're inquiring and then submitting an application, another family has submitted an application and we're working on it already. We do, however, keep track of everyone applying for the same dog and will let you know if you're application is being considered or not. This doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you, it simply means we found a good match ahead of you.

PLEASE, if you don't hear from us in a couple days after submitting an application, email us to find out the status of your application and/or the dog you're applying for. We're very busy and sometimes we miss an application that comes through. We're human and make mistakes.

We totally understand the average household is a two income family. With the economy the way it is this is almost unavoidable. This means being gone from home for several hours a day, sometimes up to 10-12 hours. We don't want anyone to miss out on the love and joy of having a dog because of this but at the same time measures must be taken for the dog to be taken care of properly. So, if everyone is gone more than 6-8 hours in the day, do you or someone from the household come home for lunch to be able to let the dog out? Do you have a dog walker that can come over to let the dog out during the day? Please explain and be specific:
