Poor little Seymour was the victim of a family not having enough time to devote to his care and needs. A new baby entered the family and Seymour was cast aside. He found himself in the pound and was very, very scared. Dachshund Rescue saved him but needed us to take him into our rescue because he was a mix. Since Mini Mutts specializes in mixed breed dogs, we happily took Seymour in and promised him his very own forever home. Well, Seymour was scared at first and didn't want to come out of his crate. After two days, I finally said enough was enough and opened the door and sat on the floor encouraging him to come out. After just a couple hesitant steps, Seymour landed in my lap giving me kisses all over! Seymour turned into a happy little boy and I couldn't wait to find a family for him. Sierra and her mom, Renee', have been through some tough times. Losing her father made Sierra a sad little girl. Renee thought having her own little dog to take care of, cuddle, and confide in would help. They found Seymour and it was love at first sight. After filling out an application and going through the whole adoption process, Seymour joined their family on June 3rd, 2006. It was a happy day for all as you can see by the pictures!
