Thelma and Louise were rescued from a puppy mill at a dog auction. They lived the first three and a half years of their lives in a cage. They didn't know what grass or love or human kindness was. They were scared to death of a leash and the only collar they knew was a chain link with a number tag on it! With a lot of patience and love, these two learned how to be dogs - running and playing, chewing on toys, walking on leashes, and sleeping in a crate with a big soft blanket inside! Thanks to several foster homes, these two socialized beautifully and a wonderful couple adopted both of them together! I cried tears of happiness when I got the email from Jutta and Dan that they "have enough love to give to both"! I knew my prayers would be answered and these two would find a home together. I couldn't have asked for a better mom and dad for these two! They are finally living in their "pot of gold" which every dog deserves.
