Spot was our first out of state adoption where she traveled on a transport to get to her forever home. We were a bit nervous if the family would like Spot and Spot would like the family being that they never met until actual adoption day. But our fears were put to rest immediately. Spot has warmed everyone's hearts and the little girls in the family were very, very excited. You see, their parents surprised them! And what a surprise it was. I think we heard the girls' screams of joy all the way here in Ohio. Spot's new name is Sweetie Pie because that is what she really is!
