Peanut and Starlight were victims of a "hoarder" situation. They were among 30+ dogs in this one woman's very small house being kept in a cage most of her life. Although the woman did love her animals, she lost control and just couldn't keep up with all of them. Living in their own filth and never seeing the vet, these poor animals suffered until the law finally stepped in and took the woman to court. All her dogs went to a local pound where they sat and waited the outcome of this woman's trial. She was convicted and all her dogs went into rescue. We took in 7 and now all have been adopted. Peanut and Starlight are now living in Bay Village TOGETHER! We are so grateful to Michelle for adopting both of these precious babies together as they have bonded during the time we've fostered them. It's so hard to separate bonded "sibs" and to be able to place them in a forever home together is truly the pot of gold for these babies! Peanut and Starlight have a huge yard to run around in and play and Grandma comes over every day at noon to let them out and spend some time with them.
