Dusty was found in the back of a shelter in a small cage all by himself. He was shivering and cowering in fear. The shelter didn't think anyone would want him and had him scheduled to be put to sleep the next day. Of course, we took him! Little Dusty has the most beautiful coat of "hair", not fur. Perfect for someone with allergies. But, Dusty was scared of his own shadow when he came into rescue! He wouldn't move off the couch and had to be carried outside to do his business. When he finally got the nerve to go out on his own, he had to work up the courage to run through the doorway. We think Dusty was kicked around a lot. But, Dusty was found by a loving couple who needed a companion after losing their beloved pet of over 13 years! Dusty fit the bill - no kids, no hyper activity, etc. Nice, quiet household where Dusty became the center of attention. Boy, is he spoiled now!! And very protective of his new mom and dad. Dusty is now Bailey and has his favorite toys, chair, loves to sit on the fireplace, and loves to go outside now!! Yeah for Dusty/Bailey!!
